The swirl of energy surrounding Dorothy Parker and the Algonquin Hotel’s infamous Round Table is the backdrop for Tau’s A Night at the Algonquin commissioned by Lone Star Lyric. The jazz inspired opera crosses fictitious stories of The Algonquin waitstaff with real life personalities from Parker, herself, to the likes of Talulah Bankhead, and Harpo Marx. (2016)
